Jesus requires us to believe and have faith. Some of us fall short of this goal. If you were to ask philosophers, celebrities, athletes, co-workers, teachers and friends how they were able to succeed when the odds were against them; many would say they believed in themselves.
They believed and it happened. When the newspaper approached Thomas Edison and directly asked, “When do you plan on showing us the light bulb? You have failed Mr. Edison. Nothing seems to work.” Thomas Edison responded, ” I know 10,000 things that will not work, and I plan to keep looking for the one that does work.” Edison believed in himself and the men he assembled to finish the task. We of course, know the rest of the story.
I invite you to believe in what you are doing. Nothing is too small or too large of a task. If you have chosen a monumental task, just believe you can conquer it.
